12 Month Warranty

12-MONTH MECHANICAL WARRANTY

Eligible watches sold by Time Broker Pty Ltd (ACN 694 266 094) atf Time Broker Trust (ABN 92 699 436 713) are supplied with our 24-Month Mechanical Warranty unless specifically excluded in writing at the time of sale.

This voluntary warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers internal mechanical movement failure resulting from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

If the internal movement experiences a mechanical fault that causes the watch to stop running or prevents it from performing its primary timekeeping function, we will repair the watch or arrange repair through our appointed professional watchmaker.

Covered faults include failure of internal movement components such as the mainspring, escapement, gear train, automatic winding mechanism, or other internal mechanical parts that prevent normal operation.

“Normal operation” means the watch runs and performs its primary timekeeping function.

Manufacturer Warranty

Where a current manufacturer or manufacturer service warranty applies, please contact us directly.

We will manage the warranty process on your behalf and coordinate with an authorised manufacturer service centre where applicable.

Where relevant, this warranty ensures total mechanical coverage for up to 24 months from the date of purchase.

Replacement Parts

Where repair is required and the watch is not covered by an active manufacturer warranty, replacement parts may be sourced from either original manufacturer supply or suitable high-quality equivalent components, depending on availability.

If original manufacturer parts are unavailable, discontinued, or not reasonably obtainable, appropriate like-for-like components may be used to restore reliable mechanical function.

This warranty covers mechanical function and reliability. It does not guarantee preservation of originality, collectability, or future resale value where component replacement is necessary.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover routine servicing, preventative maintenance, regulation or fine timing adjustment, minor timekeeping variation within normal mechanical tolerances, or gradual reduction in power reserve.

Water resistance is not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing at the time of sale following appropriate testing.

Cosmetic wear or external components are not covered, including crystal, bezel, crown, pushers, strap, bracelet stretch, dial ageing or hand ageing.

Damage resulting from impact, shock, magnetism, moisture exposure, misuse, neglect, unauthorised modification, loss or theft is not covered.

Any condition clearly disclosed in writing at the time of sale is excluded from this voluntary warranty.

Servicing and Authorisation

This voluntary warranty does not apply where the watch has been opened, serviced, repaired, or modified without our prior written authorisation.

This condition applies only to this voluntary warranty and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Claims Process

If a mechanical issue arises, please contact us.

The watch must be returned to us for assessment.

The purchaser is responsible for shipping the watch to us.

If the issue falls within the scope of this warranty, we will arrange repair and return the watch.

Australian Consumer Law Notice

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This warranty operates alongside those statutory rights.

Warranty Document and Version

A copy of this 12-Month Mechanical Warranty, as in effect on the date of purchase, will be provided to the purchaser at or shortly after the time of sale.

This warranty applies in the form issued at the date of purchase of the watch.

Time Broker Pty Ltd reserves the right to update or amend its warranty terms from time to time for future sales. Any such amendment will not affect watches purchased prior to the effective date of the revised terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a watch from The Time Broker where this warranty applies, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this 12-Month Mechanical Warranty.
