Returns and Refunds Policy
This Returns and Refunds Policy applies to all transactions conducted with Time Broker Pty Ltd (ACN 694 266 094) as trustee for the Time Broker Trust, trading as The Time Broker.
No Change-of-Mind Returns
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Time Broker does not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind.
This includes, without limitation:
Buyer remorse or subjective dissatisfaction
Incorrect purchase decisions
Changes in market value or valuation
Cosmetic expectations or personal preferences
Delays not caused by The Time Broker
Pre-Owned Watches
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all watches sold or brokered by The Time Broker are pre-owned.
The following are not faults and do not constitute grounds for return or refund:
Normal wear and tear
Scratches, marks, dents, polishing or patina
Ageing or bracelet stretch
Minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with age and use
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a remedy if a watch has a major failure, including where it:
Is significantly different from its description
Is unsafe
Is not of acceptable quality and the failure is major
Remedies
Where a remedy is required under the Australian Consumer Law, The Time Broker may, to the extent permitted by law, elect to provide:
A repair
A replacement where available
A refund
Any refund is limited to the amount paid to The Time Broker in respect of the relevant transaction.
Exclusions and Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Time Broker is not liable for issues arising from:
Normal wear, ageing, or cosmetic deterioration
Water ingress after delivery
Impact damage, misuse, or mishandling
Magnetisation
Servicing, modification, or repair performed by third parties after delivery
Manufacturer or authorised service centre refusals
Returns Process
Where a return is authorised under the Australian Consumer Law:
The watch must be returned in the same condition as delivered
All original accessories, documentation, and packaging must be included
Return shipping instructions provided by The Time Broker must be followed exactly
Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
Brokerage Transactions
Where The Time Broker acts as broker only, returns and refunds are subject to the underlying seller’s obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Time Broker is not liable for refunds or remedies beyond its role as agent.
Inspection and Assessment
All returned watches are subject to inspection upon receipt.
If damage, wear, alteration, or misuse has occurred after delivery, any entitlement to a remedy may be reduced or refused to the extent permitted by law.
